Our History
How We Started
We began with ties: the most spectacular ones you had ever seen. We used to say that almost every wardrobe in madrid had at least one soloio tie (formerly andrew’s ties). Ties were our first canvas, the space where we experimented, explored, and understood the relationship between men and color. Long before colorful socks became a style statement, ties were the playing field where men dared to innovate.
how we evolved
Our designs went beyond. color conquered jackets, socks, swim trunks and shirts. Always with the finest craftsmanship from italian workshops, we traveled through italy searching for those who resonated with our vision, and we found them. Today, we remain true to our essence, paying attention to every detail and exploring without fear. In one of our stores in Cartagena, we hide a secret that, once discovered, you’ll never want to leave. An open-air space where Mediterranean cuisine meets Caribbean ingredients. no live music, no air conditioning just the pleasure of good conversation.
A meeting point for locals and travelers, soloio bistro is a refuge from the city’s frenzy, preserving the colonial aesthetic in the courtyard of one of the most iconic houses in the walled city.
